We have actually been here a few times in the past, so we have tried several different things. Happy hour 2-6 has $7 margaritas-- classic, machete, hibiscus, make it skinny & chupa. $2 off wine/sangria, beers and apps. As far as the bar-- large selection with even mezcal and specialized tequilas. They have good guacamole-- traditional with no pico additives (although I mix my pico in). Cheese enchiladas are excellent with great corn tortilla flavor. Love the squash, blossom quesadilla that is on the app menu. You can add beef or chicken, but I do mine straight and they're amazing. You can get rice and beans with them, which they are excellent, but the quesadilla is enough as a meal. Not a fan of their salsa--too much Guajilio pepper flavor-- is basically all you get. The sauce that comes with the squash blossom quesadilla is basically chipotle and creama mixed together. Sounds great, but it's way too much chipotle-- it's all you taste. I don't recommend it on the quesadilla, it takes over. They have a cool outdoor space when the weather permits--- they open the inside to the outside! This is a busy place that takes reservations-- so plan during busy hours

5 star, must go. The chips & salsa are complimentary, the service is impeccable. They do some type of "floor section service" so we were getting approached & taken care of by two servers. They have separate food runners to ensure your food comes out hot. The atmosphere is upscale Mexican. They also serve hot cocoa (or did when we went!)

Amazing service by our waiter Marco , great attention to detail from the manager Crystal , we started our meal with a French press Mexican coffee and hot chocolate, Both were delicious, The coffee was smoky and earthy , the hot chocolate was very rich and creamy , we complimented our drinks with the French toast and pancakes. Hands down one of the best pancakes, light fluffy , perfectly spiced and sweetened! Our main dish for our brunch consisted of The Benedictos Rancheros , delicious salsa over eggs , carne asada and a corn patty , not a heavy meal ! It was great a little spicy (mild) and savory ! Very fulfilling! This place has to be on our list of top 10 best restaurants we've gone to across Texas , not just for the food but we appreciate amazing service , and they provided that and much more !

Mexican Sugar in Las Colinas is amazing! The mesquite-grilled chicken was cooked to perfection. For dessert, the chocolate avocado cake was a total game changer, if you don't like overly sweet dessert this is definitely for you. And I can't forget the La Catrina cocktail, it had just the right kick. The service was excellent, too. Our server was super friendly and gave great recommendations, which made the experience even better. This place is perfect for a date night or just catching up with friends. I'll definitely be coming back to try more of their menu. Highly recommend!

My dental office is very small , we consist of 5 and we make it work. For this year's holiday party we attended Pinstack and Mexican Sugar for the happy hour late lunch . Our server was amazing, he recc chips and salsa before we could even say anything told us about the most popular happy hour drinks and appetizers and we enjoyed. The tacos and the chimicut sauce ... Chefs kiss. Wish I had enough room for dessert. But I definitely know I'll be back for happy hour and just more tacos. Also the decor and the smell of Palo Santo from you first arrive. To the dishes, cutlery and drink ware ‍ amazing I will be back when friends come into town.

A great contender for the best sit down high end Mexican in Dallas ! Overall it's a large restaurant with tons of seating and tastefully designed to feel upscale. Service was quick and attentive during lunch. We started with the Arepas. Great amount of Barbacoa! I had the pork chop. A fantastic sear. A bit closer to medium well than medium but a good cook nonetheless. It was flavorful and still juicy. Veggies however were underdone. Dessert. Holy cow. This tres leches knocked my socks off. I've had my fair share. The coconut and golden raisins added a great touch. Nice and lots of milk. Moist cake. Highly recommended !! Good for large groups or small!

The ambiance at this restaurant was aesthetically pleasing and makes you feel like you're in the tropics! I ordered a three taco combo with cilantro rice and it was divine! I forgot to take a pic as I dug in to annihilate all three - I ordered the chicken , asada and fish . Personally I think I liked the fish tacos the best . Our server was super attentive and recommended some items to try which was helpful. Thank you for the Mexican sugar experience .

I was in town for work and thanks to good ol' Yelp, stumbled on Sugar. And I really enjoyed my visit. I dined in for dinner on a random weekday and easily found room at the bar for myself. The space itself was beautifully lit up with the bar taking all the attention, rightfully so. I noticed some outdoor seating was available but I'll never pass up a seat at the bar. I started with their elote which was a great choice followed by the churrasco with a side of cilantro rice and sweet potato. Everything I ordered was delicious. Especially my spicy margarita. Enough to where I'll absolutely be back to Sugar during my next trip to Dallas.
